We were chosen in a tender from many bait boat manufacturers to build a so-called Bathy Boat or research boat. The client is the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Potsdam - Germany, which we built an individually equipped baitboat for testing and research on the basis of an XXL bait boat construction kit.

Self research institutes swear by our XXL bait boat

The basis for the research boat is a modified XXL bait boat kit, packed with sensors, a special 3D echo sounder and some other measuring units. It was also an important requirement to provide a battery life of 5 hours and a guaranteed range of at least 1000 m.

For this reason we chose an original Carp Madness XXL bait boat extended with our Carp Madness radio system. Engineering art Made in Germany!

We could proudly hand over the research boat to the new owner in the middle of April. According to AWI it was crucial for us to order everything from one source and Made in Germany. In the future, this bait boat will explore the seas and lakes in the service of research.
